UPDATED:

Two men were arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in a shooting at a Lakewood apartment complex that killed one person and wounded two, police said Friday.

Moises Elauterio Garcia, 43, and Xavier Gabriel Brionez, 21, were arrested in connection with the Wednesday shooting at Winddrift Apartments, the Lakewood Police Department said in a news release.

Police responded to the apartments at 1490 S. Reed. St. at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday after the shooting. Responding officers found a man dead in the parking lot, later identified as 36-year-old Jose Camacho.

Two other people, a man and a woman, also were shot and have since been released from a hospital, Lakewood police said.

Garcia is being held without bail at the Jefferson County jail and is set to appear in court Thursday. Brionez also is being held without bail, but his next court date was not available Friday.
